You may (or may not) remember the wailing and gnashing of teeth a few months ago when Blizzard announced that there would be no BlizzCon this year.  While this has been bothering me less and less as time goes by, at the time I was stonily determined to still have my annual nerd vacation to California.

With this resolution in mind, my buddy Vasili and I scored tickets to Comic Con and are ready to spend 3 days reveling in pure, un-distilled nerdery (only 3 days unfortunately; we missed all the Saturday passes – blast!  Would anyone like to share?).  BlizzCon is the only nerd convention I’ve been to, and that capped out last year at around 26,000 people.  I think I’m in for a pretty intense surprise.

I’m hoping to keep up with SDCC blogging this week as well as including updates on Twitter (@n000bcakes), so keep an eye on !Blog if these sorts of things interest you!
