Dad’s Garage: Bacon Fest 2013!

For the uninitiated and too lazy to click the blog-level link, “Bacon Week“, let me explain.

No, there is too much – let me sum up.

Two years ago a local comedy club named Dad’s Garage started a fund raiser called “Bacon Fest”.  They sold tickets to a little carnival where they gave you cups of beer, bacon, and red tickets for their ridiculous and comedic carnival booths (for more details on the booths, see my previous posts).  I used Bacon Fest as an excuse to put together a week of bacon-related recipes and roped in as many fellow bloggers as possible.

This will be the 3rd annual Bacon Fest and Bacon Week and I’m hoping it’ll be the best yet!  Last year I was actually struck down with the flu mid-week so I had to cut some of my cooking short, BUT NOT THIS YEAR.  This year will have more wacky bacon-ness than ever before, and I’m looking forward to trying out some new bizarre recipes.

One other thing: I didn’t do this the previous 2 years, but this year I thought it might be fun to have some sort of “theme”: Game of Thrones!  This will be loosely applied, maybe even to just the style of pictures I decide to take, but I thought I’d take a stab at it and see what falls out.  Please do the same!
