So first, the living room colors:
Living Room as seen in recent post by the same name |
This photo of my charming friends Justin and Mandy shows the colors in different light and the rug closer up. But I don’t feel that any of the photos accurately portray the luminosity of the colors in the room. The rug even kind of looks like it has aqua in it, which it does not. Oh well.
Anyway – (drumroll puh-lease) – here is the pillow:

What do you think? The green, yellow and white are spot on, but that blue is awfully cyan. But I want it. But I am cheap. But I love it. But I want it to be perfect. What say you?
Is this a better/safer choice?
Eastern leaf pistachio pillows by CoupleHome. Love the colors and that it’s organic. But still dreaming about dodos. |

sometimes its better not to match dead on. If it was me i would get them all ;)i love mixing patterns myself. and i think the fact that the blue is a tad bit brighter will give it a nice burst. if you love it go for it. i think it will look great
buy what you love!! I just bought a quilt that's a slightly different green than the other greens in my room, but I love how it looks! No need to be matchy-matchy. I think attitude/essence is much more important.
p.s. the light in that first picture is GORGEOUS.
Good points, ladies! Thanks! Between you and three more yeses on Facebook, I've decided to buy it. I will post a pic when I get it.
I know nothing about style or fashion, but that pillow has Dodo birds on it. I demand you buy it right now and put it on your couch for me to laugh at.
😀 Ordered!
