I used to think Twitter was the most stupid, inane thing ever.
Now when I use it, I find things like this. Welcome to Meat Week, kids!
Meet Week is January 29th – February 4th. Find a meetup in your area! It starts today!
Not a meat-eater? It’s cool, there’s room for you too! Come to the meetups and eat all the meat-free side dishes you have room for. No discrimination or hating – you can join the fun anyway.
If you’re in Atlanta, you should swing by the Heirloom Market get together on the 4th. They have wicked-good BBQ, and some of the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had.

Formerly of both n00bcakes and !Blog, the two magically become one on Spatialdrift; expect some lazy baking and serious nerditude. Also, I love semicolons.
Don’t you mean… meat-up?? 😛
I’m surrounded by excellent cuts of meat here in the middle of nowhere. Doubtful that there’s a meat meet-up here, though. Enjoy it for me !
Oh man, you have no idea how many times I accidentally typed “meat up” in this post. In fact, after I officially posted it, I had to go back and edit it for that very reason. 😀 Har har har!
If there are no meat ups near you, the least you can do is cook yourself up some good BBQ and get it all over your face. That is my recommendation!
