Thanksgiving Dessert Bonanza

Bonanza!

It’s official: I am in charge of all desserts for my family’s Thanksgiving festivities this year.  Score. ^_^

So, let the planning begin!  This week I’ll be churning out 3 different desserts to appease the different tastebuds in my family.  The chosen flavors are:

  • Pumpkin
  • Pecan
  • Chocolate

The chocolate is mostly for my mother and me; we both like pumpkin and pecan but being women, chocolate for dessert is a moral imperative (see my previous posts).

I’m pretty sure I’ve got down what I’ll be doing for the pumpkin and pecan flavors, but I’m still looking for ideas for the chocolate.  I’m thinking something creative and cakey; anyone have some ideas?

Formerly of both n00bcakes and !Blog, the two magically become one on Spatialdrift; expect some lazy baking and serious nerditude. Also, I love semicolons.

  1. No brilliant ideas here – I always cook my staple chocolate pie, which is so easy to make you might curse my name from boredom while making it. 🙂 Can’t wait to hear about what you come up with, though! Happy thanksbaking!

  2. I’m always in charge of desserts for holidays now. 🙂 Chocolate gingerbread cake? You could go with your new-found appreciation and make chocolate bread pudding…
