B-Side Wedding Photos

Our incredibly talented friend Joan took this one of my maternal grandma and I.

We’re blessed with the friendship of many talented people who own cameras. While it’s great to have a talented photographer to do all of the classy and traditional shots, it’s both interesting and meaningful to see the work of others not under pressure to get the “perfect shot” and to see the event through their eyes. We first came to appreciate it when Ashley photographed our engagement shoot, and now we’re so pleased to see everyone’s photos of the wedding cropping up on social media. We fondly call them our B-sides and we’re thrilled to share some with you now.

Here’s some by LaTonya, a true and loyal friend from high school who went through hell and high water to help us build our patio and to attend the wedding. She captured some gems with a sweet retro filter. The combination is darling.
